When I moved to the states, I continued my studies at the Fashion I
nstitute of Technology in Manhattan, NY. For several years, I worked as an accessory designer for
numerous design studios in New York.
Yet, as the years passed, something seemed to be missing.
In early 2001, I made a phone call to my Dad to discuss my frustration. He said, “Bake a cake Alla.
You will feel better". |
Put all of your heart into it. Then sit back and relax. Taste what you have created.” As crazy as it
sounds, that’s just what I did. I baked a cake, decorated it and admired it. That day will go down
in history as the day The Cake Zone was born.
For those of you craving cake and event credentials, I have a few of those too: I am a member of
ICES, the International Cake Exploration Society and have been trained by top cake artists Norm
Davis Nicholas Lodge, Collette Peters.

International “Cake Central “Magazine. I am a Certified Food Safety Manager.
The Cake Zone design studio and bakery is located on private property and visited by appointment
only. Our studio houses a commercial kitchen; it is a Florida State Licensed facility and is inspected
by the Department of Agriculture.
